These resin 3D-printed shells are based on the Wabtec 3000 BEL (Battery Electric Locomotive) running on the BNSF since 2019 to test the feasibility of a 100% battery locomotive. The unit runs in consist and uses regenerative braking to recharge on the move. Our shells are great for modern kitbashers wanting to add some fuel-saving revolutionary tech to their fleet. Simply cut off the diesel hood of any standard GEVO shell, sand, and fix this hood on and you will have a Wabtec BEL locomotive! Avalible in both HO and N
